SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT AND REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS

Space EA Systems, Inc. performs concept studies and analysis, requirements definition, preliminary planning, the evaluation of alternative technical approaches and associated costs for the development or enhancement of high-level general performance specifications of a system, project, mission or activity. Our team members conduct requirements analysis, cost/cost-performance trade-off analysis, feasibility analysis, regulatory compliance support and technology conceptual designs.

SYSTEM DESIGN, ENGINEERING AND INTEGRATION

The team plays a critical role in the translation of a system concept into a preliminary and detailed design, performing risk identification/analysis/mitigation, traceability, and then integrating the various components to produce a working prototype or model of the system. Our tasks include computer-aided design, design studies and analysis, high level detailed specification preparation, configuration management and documentation.

TEST AND EVALUATION

We have years of experience of employing various techniques demonstrating that prototype systems have performed in accordance with the objectives outlined in the original design. We have conducted prototype and first article(s) testing, environmental testing, independent verification and validation, reverse engineering simulation and modeling (to test the feasibility of a concept), system safety, quality assurance, and physical testing of the product or system.

INTEGRATED Space ACQUISITION LOGISTICS PLANNING

We assist in defining and implementing “cradle-to-grave” space acquisition logistics analysis, capability-focused sustainment planning, and agile implementation of tailored Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) for space systems. We help the customer through the development and implementation of acquisition logistics based approaches to support the agile development of space systems fielding activities in conjunction with long-term system supportability and interoperability with existing systems and infrastructures.
